The Huckleberry Hut
Some of the best thinking happens in small spaces.
The Huckleberry Hut is a hand-crafted tiny house tucked into the fir trees at Camp Stingeroo, perched above the Columbia River on thirty acres of meadow and forest. It was built for the person who needs to get away from the noise and back inside their own head.

The Hut is compact but has plenty of room for one person. Inside you’ll find a bright sitting room with windows looking out in all directions, a tiny wood stove for cool mornings, a loft sleeping space under a cathedral cedar ceiling, and a small kitchen stocked with handmade pottery. The cedar deck has a grill, dining set, and a comfy wide chair for taking it all in.

“For anyone who has been meaning to start something — or finish it.”
This is a place for poets, writers, and dreamers. For anyone who has been meaning to get something off the ground (or to get grounded again). The Hut is semi-off-grid and deliberately quiet. There’s no TV, and you can always turn off the wifi. There is stillness, expansiveness, birdsong, crickets, and enough solitude to finally release that thing you’ve been carrying around.
Guests have full access to our private meadow and forest with a mile of trails.
